I am incredibly grateful for this experience and can attest to the beautiful storytelling of the divine. Thank you for this gift and I hope that this story will touch those it is meant to and bring love, healing and hope into their lives.

SALVATION TO SURRENDER

This film was a gift to me from the divine. Literally. On the actual day of my birthday this year I received a notification on Backstage that the director and writer/producer of this short wanted to cast me to play himself. To get this news on my birthday, out of the blue was a magical. I would like to thank Edward Avila and Tyler Forrest, and their divine inspiration for selecting me for this part.

This is a very touching and profound story about a real journey of redemption from past sins to salvation and ultimately, surrender to the divine. It follows the story of Ed, who was molested as a child and all the trauma and chaos that followed him in the wake of that event throughout his life.

A little story directly from Edward:

It wasn’t until the Lord took away everything that was important to me, my marriage, my business and financial security, that I finally realized how self-centered I truly was. The Lord brought me to my knees in full and absolute surrender in November of 2013. On my living room floor, curled up like a little child, I cried uncontrollably realizing that I wasn’t in control of anything. The Lord was in control of my life when I invited Him into my life in January of 1978, and asked Him to be my Lord and Savior.

It was through this dramatic change that happened, that the Lord gave me the desire and motive to begin sharing my testimony of my “Salvation to Surrender”, to others. First with a book entitled, "Salvation to Surrender... A 35 Year Journey in Finding True Rest", and now with a motion picture in the making entitled, "Salvation to Surrender... A Journey to Redemption".
